Heartiest Congratulations to you Shinata Chauhan for being crowned as Fbb Femina Miss India Uttar pradesh 2019. How do you feel to be called as Miss Uttar Pradesh?
Thank you so much! It feels amazing! But you know it feeks even more beautiful when you see a lot of support coming from your state and all the people around in the form of comments, likes and beautiful positive messages. It will be a bliss to represent Uttar Pradesh at Miss India stage!!! Loads of love to everyone.
How was that moment when your north zone mentor Dia Mirza was crowing you as Miss Uttar Pradesh? What was going in your mind?
Trust me I wasn't thinking anything. I was totally lost in the beauty of moment. There were pure emotions of joy happiness and gratitude. I couldn't control that wide grin when my name was announced and later those tears when Dia Ma'am crowned me and i saw my family. There was a sudden flashback of all the memories of hard work, criticism and learning experiences.
You are extremely good in academics as you had been school topper for 7 years so what made you step in pageantry? From where this all started?
A 7 years old girl asked her mother, " who is the most beautiful girl mom? " Her mother frankly said Miss India. Though then beautiful had a completely different meaning for me but Miss India became my dream since I started dreaming and with the age came more understanding of beauty, intelligence, purpose and most importantly a queen, who is there to serve and rule hearts! So as i grew up I started connecting more because that's the kind of individual I am in real life - purposeful, passionate and a selfless girl who loves to help be it in the form of being the face of org for raising funds for underprivileged or spreading awareness about different issues.
Therefore I started training at The Tiara Pageant Training Studio when I was fifteen and a half and did a few pageants later. Also, academics has always been my first priority and it never stopped me instead it made me opinionated, thoughtful and gave me more strength to pursue my dreams
when Shinata was crowned as Miss Teen Exquisite International 1st RU
Since you had already represented India internationally in Miss Teen Exquisite International 2017 and made nation proud by becoming 1st RU there, so did you feel any pressure of performance or expectations when you were state finalist?
Trust me there was no such pressure. I'm a person who takes everything positively and stay humble. So i took that stage experience as a positive factor. Yes there were expectations from me and rather than getting scared i got motivated. It's like so many people were supporting and thinking about me so I've to make them proud. But the best part was my other two state finalists. They were so good that I never felt like I'm in a competition and I think neither they felt so. So i was focusing on giving my hundred percent.
You have won Miss Body Beautiful title, so what is your definition of beautiful body? Do you think that being fit makes you look beautiful and more confident? What are your thoughts on fitness and what is your fitness mantra?
Fitness is my way of life. For me it's about being healthy and looking our level best according to our body type. It's not about losing weight and starving myself, it's about eating properly, feeling healthy and being in good shape with proper exercise then your body will glow automatically and you will feel more confident. I personally eat a lot of vegetables and fruits along with drinking a lot of water. Also i do gymming for a well toned body. "Prevention is always better than cure" - that's my mantra
Beauty with the Purpose project is given significant weight-age both at national and international pageant and its evident from your social media account that you want to do something for underprivileged people and education so will this be your project or it is about something else?
NO BWAP answer right now!!
What are your key strengths and qualities that makes you stand out from rest 29 girls competing for the same title of Femina Miss India 2019?
You know I've been asked this question a lot of times, that's what my edge. I always told about my qualities like positive attitude, hardworking yet grounded. But in this introspection period while preparing for Miss India, it's my Self Belief that i can do anything if I want to! and I always work hard for that belief, that creates an aura or charm of a winner around me.
How has been your bond with rest of the girls? Any special memory that you would like to share with us from your entire journey so far.
I really cherish those days. There was such a healthy environment in North Zone finals, all the girls were enjoying this learning journey so much.
Well there are lots of memories. Those 7 days were full of memories and it's difficult to choose one. I still remember the day when we were travelling to our finale venue at 2.30 am in the bus and all of us were singing and dancing with full energy...expressing themselves with different acts. That moment still cheers me up as there was no competitive feeling but a feeling to enjoy the journey and make most out of whatever time we had be it late nights after long days.
Also I will not forget that late night Nutella Party after our Body Beautiful sub contest ☺️
I get inspired by small small achievements of anyone who puts in hard work and is dedicated and passionate about his work. Be it a young scholar or dancer or an old man taking care of his fitness or a young woman who is daring to dream. Also I really look up on Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. These 2 women really inspire me to work hard and achieve my dreams. It doesn't matter where you come from, but you write your own destiny. I want to be unstoppable like them. And as far as Miss India is concerned, it's my mom who inspired me, pushed me and supported me to be what I am today ☺️
